Try and use electrical appliances only when needed. For instance, use the electric dryer when you have a full load of clothes. It is even better if you air-dry your clothes. Choose a microwave oven to cook instead of the electric oven. Switch off the television set and coffee maker as and when you are done using it. The best thing to do is to buy only those electric appliances that have the Energy Guide label. These appliances are designed to be energy efficient.
