I have already discussed how much water we waste if a leak is not fixed. But how do we find out if there is some faucet or toilet leak in our homes?
If you have a water meter, make good use of it. Take the reading before and after a 2-hour period in which no water has been used by any family member at home. Ideally, the reading should be the same. If not so, your home mostly has a leak.
You can try this test after the kids are off to school and there are no chances of using water for 2 hours.
